Wicker Style Cat Tree With Scratching Post

A wicker style cat tree with scratching post like this one can be an excellent money saver and space saver. This is an excellent cat tree for apartment dwellers.

If you want something with a little more decorative oomph that’s still affordable and functional, this wicker style cat tree with a scratching post might be just the thing.  It’s something I can certainly recommend. It’s a good space saver too.

A cat tree like this has a wonderful look to it.  It’s made from paper rope, a material that’s been used to make furniture and other goods for ages.  It is surprisingly strong, durable and cats seem to really like it.

So, this cat tree might be a bit on the small side, but that can be a very good thing when you are trying to save space.  If you live in an apartment, condo or even a studio apartment, this cat tree could be the solution.

Since it’s pretty, it won’t stick out like a sore thumb, but it also has a small footprint.  It’s only 29” tall and it’s base is 19” x 19”. This means that it won’t take up all your floor space when you do get it, but it’ll still provide a lovely area for your cat to lounge.

On the bottom level is a cat condo, the paper rope is weaved around to make a cozy cubby for your cat to enjoy and doze in.  The top basket is woven from the same material and is rated to hold cats up to 20 lbs. So large cats and small cats alike can enjoy this.

The top basket also has a warm and cushy fleece cushion. It’s removable so that you can easily clean out the basket and clean off the cushion.  Traditional carpeted cat trees are great, but one of their downfalls is definitely the fact that they can be a little harder to keep clean.

If you are looking for a cat tree for multiple cats, this one could work, but I’m not sure it’d be the optimal choice overall.  You want a little more room for each cat to have their own space to claim.

If that’s a concern, I’d go check this out if space isn’t actually a big concern.  If it is, these might be more your speed.

The scratching post is central and easy for your cat to access.  It’s made from a durable sisal material, which is great to help your cat do one of the things are built to do… Scratch.  This is good for their health, mentally and physically.

So if you have been on the hunt for a dual cat tree/scratching post combo that will work well in an apartment or studio, I think this wicker style cat tree with a scratching post could be a contender.

If you are on the lookout for something with a little more emphasis on the scratching post portion of this, I’ve made a list of the best cat scratching trees we could find, why not go check that out?

Though assembly is needed for this cat tree, it is a very simple process and they include all the tools and instructions required for the process.  The manufacturer estimates a ten minute build time and I’ve found that to be just about right. It doesn’t take long to piece everything together.

To sum up, this cat tree is stylish, space saving and has a minimal but effective scratching post.  It’s strong enough to hold up larger cats and durable enough to stand up to them and their feline needs.  Easy to clean, snug spot to snuggle, it’s a nice bundle.

I hope that this was helpful in your search for the right cat tree for you and your cats!  Give them some love for us here!
