Easy DIY Cat Furniture Project

No Room For Cat Furniture?  Try Cat Tunnels Instead

If you are looking for a super simple DIY cat furniture project this is your lucky day.

While I was surfing around the interwebs today I stumbled onto this outstanding cat playground tutorial from Lowe’s of all places.

The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow.  There is a video to show you SHOW you step-by-step how to get great results for yourself.  It’s always easier to do something after you’ve watched someone else do it, right?

I will say the video does assume you KNOW NOTHING about doing a DIY or craft project.  This is either a really good thing or it’ll be annoying to you.  I found it a bit tedious but I do realize that there are folks out there who need this info and the are peppy and don’t belabor any points so…

One annoying thing is you have to click a button to get the full tools and materials list to be visible.  What’s up with that?  Not really a “problem” but how hard would it have been just to print it out and not make you click something?

PRO TIP… Don’t Recreate The Wheel!
Want to build your own dazzling pet furniture but are sick of so-called “plans” you find online that leave out essential bits because they “assume” you already know how to do? We have just what you need (including 150 woodworking lessons that’ll have folks thinking you have Woodworking Super Powers! Check out this short video… RIGHT HERE!

So to help out with that I’m gonna list everything you need to complete this project here…

Tools You Need…

  • Tape measure
  • Handsaw
  • Carpet knife
  • Clamps
  • Caulk gun
  • Tape

Materials You Need…

  • 1 12-inch concrete form tube
  • 1 Liquid Nails adhesive
  • 2 ft. 5/8-inch rope
